The Heartbeat Appeal is committed to making sure that Yorkshire's hospitals remain at the forefront of patient care.  We want the skills of our doctors and nurses to be matched by the technology of their equipment - so that our world-class clinical teams can provide world-class cardiac treatment.
 
Eighteen years since our launch - and having distributed more than £2m to Yorkshire's hospitals in the process - our aims remain the same: to raise funds to bolster the fight against heart disease; and to raise awareness in the community about how to reduce the risks of falling victim to a heart attack.
 
From small-scale beginnings, we have grown year-on-year to become one of the county's leading, independent, heart charities.  It is a platform on which we are determined to build further - and with your help we believe we can.
